Provide technical analysis and analytical inputs to the Bangladesh Bank Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) and the BB Board for the semi-annual Monetary Policy Statement (MPS): macroeconomic and inflation forecasting (Economic Modeling and Forecasting Wing, Research Dept; Inflation Expectation Survey Wing), money and credit programme formulation, monitoring of Key Monetary Indicators (KMI) daily, preparation of MPC working papers and presentations, review of the interest rate corridor (repo/SLF/SDF), CRR/SLR calibration, SMART/market-based lending rate transition, and foreign exchange framework assessment; draws on the Monetary Policy Department (MPD), Chief Economist's Unit (CEU), Statistics Department, Research Department, and a cross-departmental network of contributor wings
