Standing Committee on Rules of Procedure

Parliamentary Committee

Examine, review, and recommend amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the Jatiya Sangsad; consider any matter relating to the conduct of parliamentary business and questions of procedure referred to it by the House or the Speaker; table a report to the House on proposed rule changes, which the Sangsad may then adopt or reject. The committee is the principal institutional mechanism through which Parliament updates its own procedural framework.
