Oversee and coordinate the rolling implementation of the National Education Policy 2010 across primary, secondary, madrasa, technical, and tertiary education; guide curriculum development and textbook reform through NCTB; monitor translation of NEP 2010 policy directives into law, institutional restructuring, and budgetary allocations; under the current BNP-Tarique government (sworn 17 February 2026), the committee's work encompasses the reversal of the 2023 Awami League new curriculum, reinstatement of the 2012 curriculum framework for SSC 2026, and preparation of a fully revised curriculum targeted for introduction from the 2027 academic year
