প্রচণ্ড ঢেউ। ভাটার পানির স্রোত মেহরাজকে টেনে নিয়ে যাচ্ছিল। শুরুতে উপকূল থেকে অন্তত ৫০ মিটার দূরে দেখা যায় মেহরাজকে। ১০ মিটার দূরত্বে ছিলেন সাব্বির।
