Cross-ministry coordination to remove regulatory and administrative bottlenecks facing foreign investors, align sector-level policies across Finance, Commerce, Industry, NBR, and investment promotion agencies (BIDA, BEZA, BEPZA), and accelerate FDI approvals and aftercare. The coordination function is exercised in practice through BIDA's governing board and, under the Yunus interim government (August 2024 to February 2026), through the named Investment Coordination Committee (ICC) chaired by Special Envoy Lutfey Siddiqi. Whether the ICC or an equivalent named body continues under the Tarique Rahman government is not confirmed in primary sources reviewed as of May 2026.
