Parliamentary Committee

Examines whether assurances, promises, and undertakings given by ministers on the floor of the Jatiya Sangsad have been implemented within a reasonable time, and reports to the House on the extent of compliance or non-compliance. The committee scrutinises every assurance recorded in Hansard, calls on the relevant ministry for an implementation report, and may classify an assurance as fulfilled, dropped, or outstanding. Ministers are excluded from membership by rule.
