Named in 121 articles since August 2015; number 16 among bodies in the last 12 months.

September 2026: 5 articles against 0.6 expected.
3 Metro Rail projects in Dhaka to cost Tk 2.5 trillionThe total counts every outlet in the corpus. The 12-month comparison, shares and spikes use The Daily Star (business pages before 2026) and Prothom Alo English from 2018, so they measure attention within that corpus, not the whole press. Company press releases are left out throughout. A spike is a month at least three standard deviations above the body's previous 24 months. Bodies are matched by name or acronym in the headline and summary.

Claims as reported in the press and summarised in BDPolicyLab's daily Policy Advisor; not official statistics unless source_class is official. Data check: the press figure against the official series for the same quantity and period. Agrees within 2% of the official value; otherwise differs, gap = press minus official. No series: no reviewed rule places the claim on an official series, so no verdict is given.
