The headline, gross ministry statement, Finance Division treatment, and operating-development split in Bangladesh's FY2026-27 budget.
Primary finding
The headline FY2026-27 budget is Tk 938,000 crore.
The ministry-wise statement that says who spends what uses a gross Consolidated Fund basis and adds up to Tk 1,515,439 crore.
The gap is largely the Finance Division line (Tk 830,552 crore), which carries debt servicing, including the rollover of maturing principal, rather than spending programmes. The comparison below therefore sets it aside.
The returned ex-Finance gross total is Tk 684,887 crore across 61 ministries and divisions.
